Rooms close to A1

We have two spacious double rooms available and are looking for clean, tidy, and considerate professionals to join our home.

You’ll be sharing with friendly and respectful housemates in a well-maintained property. I’m a healthcare professional and have hosted many lodgers over the years, including those working or training in nearby hospitals, as well as people starting out in their careers.

The house is located in a desirable area of Gateshead, overlooking Newcastle across the River Tyne. It offers generous shared spaces, including a garden, study room, living room, and a fully equipped kitchen, so there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the space.

For transport, there is easy access to the A1 just a couple of minutes away, along with plenty of private parking available in front of the property. If you don’t drive, the nearest bus stop is only a 3-minute walk, and Gateshead Metro station is around 10 to 15 minutes away. Tesco Extra, Trinity Square (with VUE cinema), and the high street are all nearby, and Newcastle Central Station can be reached on foot in around 30 minutes.

We also have two very affectionate and well-tempered cats, Mao Mao and Leo. They are free to roam around the house (except bedrooms), so it’s important that you are comfortable living with pets.

This is a small and peaceful house share with a maximum of two lodgers, so there is plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere. We are all professionals and keep a friendly and considerate home environment. The rooms are best suited to working professionals. Unfortunately, couples are not permitted, and the house is not suitable for full-time working from home.
