This is an opportunity for someone who feels a devotion to nature conservancy and wishes to help provide a safe and supportive sanctuary for rescued animals and all other residents and visitors. It is not a cheap “rental”-only opportunity but a work-accommodation arrangement.

A brief description:
- Self-contained Annexe a few miles from Fenny Compton.
- The Annexe owner lives in the main house, which is a separate but closely neighbouring property.
- Single-occupancy.
- Guests permitted.
- Quiet (other than sound of M40 depending on wind direction and timee of day, etc) and peaceful setting; private 5 acres; an excellent helping team.
- 1-1.5 hours /day split between morning open up for animals, ideally mid-afternoon and end of day closing. Minimum 160 days a year dates to be agreed.
- In addition to the part-time animal care, lock-up-an average of one night a week.
- The accommodation cost is discounted based on an agreement to provide this very part-time, easy animal care—no heavy work required.
- Stratford District Council tax (lowest band A) not included in rent. The occupant pays the Council Tax either to the owner or to the Council, who gives a single occupancy discount if the tax is paid directly.
- Electric not included in rent; usage is calculated from a sub-meter reading and is paid separately, in addition to rent.
- WiFi, water, and septic costs are included in rent.
- Occupant may arrange their own TV License if they wish to use their television. Thes photos show a tele in situ that is no longer included.
- Animal and rural-life lovers only.
- Pets considered.
- Ideal for a retiree or someone who works from home and wants to enjoy rural life.
- Short lets are not considered. Better suited to someone who wants to settle long-term.
- Please provide information about your work, availability for animal care and your attitude towards animals.
- There may be an opportunity for on-site animal care, gardening and maintenance work in addition to the terms of the Casual Work Accommodation Agreement. With no commuting time or costs involved the rate of pay is £15/hour.
- Required: First and last month's rental, a £200 security deposit, a deposit for last month's electricity and council tax at move-in.
- References are required.

- On-site grown fruit and veg and eggs from our free range flock, all as organic as possible, are offered as and when available.
