Lovely doubleroom/en-suite in 17thC cottage

More flexible than “Monday to Friday” (but unfortunately not suitable for someone looking for full time lodgings)…..SpareRoom doesn’t really have an option that describes what we offer (so they suggested we explain it here!).

We’re looking for someone who probably works relatively locally, needs a comfortable base and for example usually goes home at weekends, or perhaps does Sunday–Friday etc, or a similar pattern.

We’re flexible though when work commitments, overtime or the occasional weekend dictate, and happy to be adaptable which the Spareroom Monday to Friday option just doesn’t describe.

In other words, we’re ideally suited to someone looking for a lovely space during the working week they know is there for them 😊

We have a good-sized double bedroom, with space for a computer table, and a large ensuite bathroom with a roll-top bath, in a characterful and quirky 17th-century listed cottage. There’s Wi-Fi and a TV in the room, plus a kitchen/dining room with an Aga, separate utility room and a garden to enjoy in the summer.

We’re ideally located for Aston Martin and Jaguar Land Rover, with Gaydon/JLR and AM around a 10-minute drive away, as well as being convenient for Wellesbourne and the M40.

If you have time to explore, we’re around 20 minutes from Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury, Leamington Spa and the Cotswolds, with some lovely National Trust properties nearby too, including Charlecote, Upton House and Compton Verney.

We’re in Kineton, a large and friendly village with a doctors’ surgery, pharmacy, post office, excellent local shops, pub, café, Indian takeaway and other food options.

There’s a supermarket around 10–12 minutes away by car, as well as several pubs serving food in the surrounding villages just a few minutes away.

We do have pets, and we’re a happy, welcoming household who’ll be very pleased to make you feel at home. We’re looking for someone who’ll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere here and appreciate a little more flexibility than the usual Monday–Friday arrangement.
