No expense was spared in transforming this cracking four-story Victorian property into a comfortable, stylish and spacious ‘higgihaus’ that includes five double bedrooms (all ensuite) on the upper three storeys. On the lower ground floor is an extraordinary kitchen, dining and ‘community’ space designed very specifically to enhance interaction, collaboration and social engagement: Throw open the large patio doors and the community space is seamlessly connected to an enclosed south-facing rear garden.
Each room has been designed to be incredibly comfortable. The mattresses are cutting-edge responsive memory foam. In the ensuite bathroom, you will find a rainfall shower. They’re also brim full of ‘tech’. High-definition internet-connected smart TVs adorn the walls, USB charging points have been placed immediately adjacent to the bed, the WIFI is business-grade, and the broadband is fast.
The kitchen, dining and community space is fully equipped and includes everything the ‘higgihausmates’ might reasonably need and includes: an induction hob, double oven, separate combination oven/microwave, integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge/freezers (two of them), a washing machine and a tumble dryer. House movie nights are delivered courtesy of a wall-hung 55” 4k Ultra HD smart TV.
