I have recently finished renovating a large detached Victorian house at the top of West Cross, Swansea, a couple of miles from Singleton campus and a ten minute walk down to the seafront. The room would suit a mature, responsible lodger who works locally, perhaps at Swansea University or Singleton Hospital, and goes home at weekends. The 3A and 14 buses pass close by.

There is one other male lodger here who is only up for a couple of nights a week in term time as he lives in England, so you would have the shared bathroom largely to yourself.

The house has off street parking, a garage and an enormous garden surrounded by trees which backs onto a brook.

No pets or smokers I'm afraid, and no couples or working from home.
