Welcome to Heima!

Heima (meaning ‘home’ or ‘to be at home’) is my cosy home found on a very quiet residential road by the woods and Heima is looking for one more happy soul to come and chill out in its garden filled with birdsong, or besides its open log fire.

On offer is a very peaceful 3 bed professional house share in the popular community of Bearwood, just 10 minutes drive from the city centre and with the beautiful Warley Woods and Lightwoods parks as your ‘back gardens.’

Currently the house is home to myself (nature-loving rambler, doodler, bookworm, cinema-junky, student of Japanese) and Alex ( book 'n' games loving history teacher). We’re chilled out working people and it would be great to find one more like-minded relaxed soul to come and join the gang.

* 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets
* Charming 're-wilded' rear garden which blooms in bright colours most of the year and is about to get an overhaul to its decking area.

Room available :

Room 2 : A peaceful west-facing double-glazed, double room on the first floor overlooking the very pleasant rear garden and onwards towards Warley Woods park. The room is fully furnished with double bed, drawers, bedside table, large mirrored wardrobe, book case, desk, chair & desk lamp. There is a feature fire mantel place too and a TV aerial point in the room also.

Included in the rent :

* Gas, electricity, water & Council Tax
* Unlimited Wi-Fi broadband

Other perks include your own Netflix profile, access to Amazon Prime movies, 48" 4K OLED Smart TV, DVD/Blu-ray player in the living room, Spotify account that can be used on the communal TV, a beautiful open log-burning fireplace, super friendly housemates.

Heima is very much a place to genuinely call home and it would be great to find someone who appreciates and contributes to that vibe. Hey, who knows, maybe join me doing some tree-hugging volunteerism at The Woods or just go for strolls there listening for the hoot of the owls or screech of the green parakeets (true story!).

Transport connections :

* Car : 1 minute from the Hagley Road (A456), 10 mins from city centre,10 mins from the M5. Free roadside parking
* Bus : main Bearwood bus interchange 5 mins walk away and Hagley Road stops 5 mins walk away. Plentiful services direct into the city centre and many other destinations in Birmingham. Number 48 Service (goes to QE hospital/ Uni of Birmingham) within 2 minute walk.
