Double Double room in fantastic shared house close to Crawley town centre.
The house has great transport links nearby. The town centre is less than a 10 minute walk away. From here buses run 24 hours a day to Gatwick Airport and Manor Royal (Numbers 10, 20 and 100). Trains are also available direct to Gatwick Airport and London.
Asda supermarket is within a 5 minute walk from the house. There is also a shop at the end of the road. The street itself is quiet and away from main roads, which makes it a popular choice for working professionals looking for a central location.
The house is shared by five housemates. One room has an Ensuite shower room. The remaining four housemates share the upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room (both have their own toilet and basin). The lounge is large with two sofas, has a flat screen tv and dinning table / chairs. The kitchen benefits from a huge fridge and freezer, double oven and a dishwasher. A separate utility room contains both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. All appliances are new and made by Bosch. To the rear of the property is a garden and patio area. The house also benefits from off street parking for several cars, central heating and double glazing throughout.
The room itself comes fully furnished and includes a double bed with storage, large wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers and a desk (if required). The bedroom door has its own lock.
All bills are included in the rent (council tax, water, electric, gas, high-speed broadband, communal tv package and licence). We do not charge any administration fees.
The other housemates are all friendly working professionals. We do not accept couples, room sharers, pets, children or DSS.
The house is licensed as a house of multiple occupation with Crawley Borough Council. To achieve this accreditation, the council periodically inspect the property and perform numerous checks including that:
• valid gas, electric, smoke alarm and emergency lighting certificates are in place; and
• the property owner and management company are suitable persons.
