Double room in new build

Hi, I’m Jess! 👋🏼 a 34 year old FinTech Recruiter.

I am looking to rent out my second spare room in my four bedroom detached house. It’s a lovely modern, new build house on a small and safe estate in Goring-by-sea. 10 minute’s walk from the train station.

I am looking for somebody who is wanting a short term room rental, anything from 1 week up to 4 months. Perhaps you are waiting for your house sale to go through, are working in the local area for a few months or need somewhere to stay while search for a property to buy etc. This would not be suitable for some who is looking for long term rental.

A very clean and tidy house that is decorated to a high standard throughout. You will have access to all new appliances, washing machine etc. There is a medium sized garden and patio which is a lovely sun trap in the summer.

There is 1 main (very clean and modern) bathroom and 1 toilet downstairs, sadly no en-suite for either of us. You’d have access to the whole house and the garage if you require any additional storage.

There is a drive and off street parking available. The room currently has a double bed in it.

I work from home mostly. I’m keen to find someone who’s the right fit for the house. I have one other lovely housemate, Michelle - 29, female and we have a very friendly, calm and peaceful atmosphere in the house.

I’m clean, respectful, fair minded, empathetic, quiet and tidy who will respect your space and boundaries too. I love to cook healthy nutritious food and I have a beautiful British Shorthair cat who is indoor only - so please only people who are okay with cats. Sorry no additional pets.

I love hiking, spending time in nature, pilates, baking, gardening, walks on the beach, Pilates. Enjoy a bit of trash TV, Traitors etc! I’ve just returned from a year travelling abroad. I’m a non smoker and occasional social drinker.

£700 price includes all bills, council tax, high speed Wi-Fi

I will also pay for us to get a fortnightly cleaner to remove some of the cleaning pressure.
