The Teal Room is a beautifully presented double bedroom with its own private ensuite shower room, in a quiet three-bedroom home just 5 minutes' walk from Three Bridges Station.

The property is particularly well suited to professionals working or training temporarily in the area, as well as trainee pilots, airline crew, aviation professionals and people training at CAE.

Excellent access to Manor Royal, Crawley and surrounding Gatwick businesses.

Ideally located for professionals working or training at major local employers and training centres including CAE Gatwick, Acron Aviation, IAGO Flight Training, Boeing, Virgin Atlantic, EasyJet, Thales, Elekta, Collins Aerospace, AerFin, Gatwick Airport and businesses across Manor Royal. The property may also suit healthcare professionals working temporarily at Crawley Hospital, East Surrey Hospital or other local NHS services.

Rates reduce for longer commitments.

2–3 weeks: £375 per week

4–11 weeks: £1,350 per 4 weeks

12 weeks+: reduced longer-stay rates available

6-month commitment: £1,100 per calendar month

ONLY THREE PEOPLE SHARING

One of the biggest advantages of Gatwick Training Residence is that this is a small, peaceful home rather than a large house share.

There are only three bedrooms, so you will normally share the entire property with just two other people, generally quiet professionals who are working, studying or training locally. The two current housemates are easyJet trainee pilots who are both quiet, clean, tidy and very considerate, so the house has a calm and respectful atmosphere.

The house is deliberately kept peaceful, organised and exceptionally clean, with communal areas cleaned fortnightly at no additional cost.

PEACE, CLEANLINESS & A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP

You may find cheaper rooms around Crawley and Gatwick.

What I offer is aimed at people who place particular value on peace, cleanliness, comfort, privacy and a good night's sleep.

I've had many guests come to stay with me after finding that previous accommodation wasn't quite what they had expected!

When you're living away from home for several weeks or months, where you come home to at the end of the day really does matter.

Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am, and everyone staying here is expected to be considerate of other people's sleeping, studying and working patterns.

As a former teacher, I also understand the importance of having the right conditions for concentration and study. The home has been set up to provide a calm environment where you can work, rest and genuinely switch off.

MORE THAN JUST A BEDROOM

For a stay of several weeks or months, living in a hotel room can quickly become restrictive – and you never know who may be staying next door from one night to the next.

Here you have the full use of the home, including a fully equipped kitchen, your own fridge, freezer and cupboard space, dishwasher, washing machine, comfortable living room, dining area and garden.

There is also garage space available for storing suitcases, bikes or larger belongings.

You can cook proper meals, store fresh food, do your laundry and relax in the communal areas rather than spending your stay confined to one room.

Household essentials are provided too, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toilet rolls, washing powder, washing-up liquid and cleaning products – making it easy to arrive with your suitcase and settle in.
