About Me
Hi, I’m Dan, a 34-year-old self-employed graphic designer and illustrator. I mostly work from home and have weekends free. I’m active and social, enjoying hobbies like hiking and running with Seren in Gledhow Woods, bouldering, Padel racket, cooking, live music, illustrating, reading, and occasional gaming. I also enjoy hosting friends occasionally.
The household vibe is calm, friendly, and independent, with an open-minded and communicative approach. While I often cook for myself, I’m happy to share meals now and then. I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where we can both express our personalities and make this our shared home.
Seren, my Border Collie, is a small, friendly, and well-behaved dog. She sleeps in my room, gets plenty of exercise, and will happily bond with you if you’re up for it.
Housemate Preferences
* Age: 24–45.
* Open to any profession, ideally someone who occasionally works from home.
* Dog-friendly is essential!
* Smoking is allowed, but only outdoors.
* A respectful and responsible housemate is key—someone tidy and considerate.
* Bonus if you’re creative, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Pets: Open to an additional dog if necessary, though a cat might not fit Seren’s dynamic. Visitors: Guests are welcome and will be treated with hospitality, as long as they respect the home.
House Rules
* Cleanliness: Treat shared areas with respect. Let’s keep them tidy daily and do a more thorough clean weekly.
* Noise levels: Please keep things quiet during working hours and after 9 PM. The area is family-friendly, so we’re mindful of noise overall.
* Guests: Always welcome but should respect the home and its vibe.
* Shared expenses: Happy to split the cost of toiletries, cleaning supplies, and cooking staples as needed.
