It's not polished or modern, and it's honestly crying out for some love — but everything works, it's clean, and there's loads of room to make a space your own. Bills: In the cold season only, there's a £100/month credit toward gas, electric and water — anything above that is shared fairly between tenants (roughly £15–50 per person per month in heating season). Council tax exemption applies for students.
The house feels like: calm, tidy, goal-focused people who get on well. Right now it's two lovely housemates — a PhD student and a doctor in training — in a 3-bed house. No noisy neighbours, no drama. Everyone does their own thing but is always up for a pizza, a pint, or coffee and cake on a lazy weekend. 🍰
Smoking/vaping isn't allowed upstairs, but there's a well-ventilated corner, plus the kitchen and both yards.
