We have a king size en-suite room available in a huge, gorgeous Georgian flat on Hanover Square.
The flat is on the ground floor overlooking the park. The living room is massive and has enormous windows and period features (high ceilings, crown molding etc). There's a huge kitchen with a DISHWASHER and GAS COOKER which are both worthy of CAPITALS. There's off street parking.
The bedroom is downstairs in the basement but it gets a decent amount of light (for a basement). It's big, got a king bed, a WALK IN WARDROBE, the en-suite is really NICE and has TWO SINKS, a separate bath and shower. The only downside is that the washing machine and tumble dryer are in a cupboard inside this room. It can be a bit annoying but we always try to do laundry during the daytime.
The location is amazing, really close to town, it's quiet and we're near Clarendon Road so the walk into Headingley is really nice.
Current tenants are myself and my best friend Abi. We're chill but chaotic, we watch a lot of films and are big into music. We cook a fair bit, I'm like, kind of vegan, and Abi is like, kind of vegetarian. We're both tidy (please be tidy), pretty neurodivergent and don't throw big parties or anything. Firm no drugs policy, including w**d, sorry. (We're not narcs I'm in recovery lol.) We're not gonna say no alcohol but definitely no big drinkers and someone who doesn't drink at all would be ideal. Bonus points if you own a nice big rug or a decent sized tv cause the old housemate took those when she moved out.
We want someone to move in ASAP and we have the place until 22nd Sep. Bills are not included in rent, the water is abt £30, energy abt £54, wifi is abt £6. Council tax is band C (for Council), I'm too tired to do maths right now and Abi's an idiot, but I can give you a proper figure later.
