Spacious double bedroom available in a friendly 3-bed house in Marsden — a beautiful semi-rural village with a real sense of community, and one of the best-connected spots in West Yorkshire for commuters. Marsden station is a short walk away, with direct trains to Leeds, Manchester and Huddersfield, so it's an easy base whichever direction you're headed, while still feeling like a proper village rather than a suburb.

The room itself is a good-sized double, fully furnished and comfortable, with plenty of natural light. You'll have full use of a lovely kitchen — great if you enjoy cooking — and a garden to relax in during the warmer months. The house is well looked after and has a settled, homely feel rather than a typical houseshare atmosphere.

I live in the house myself, along with my dog, Myrtle, who's friendly, well-behaved and very much part of the household — so this would suit someone who's genuinely happy living alongside a dog. I'm easygoing and respectful of shared space, and I'd love to find someone similar: tidy, considerate, and comfortable with a quiet, sociable-when-you-want-to-be kind of home rather than a party house. Whether you're new to the area, relocating for work, or just want a comfortable base with an easy commute, you'd be very welcome here.

Rent is £125 per week, all bills included, and the room is available immediately. I'm happy to provide references and would ask for the same in return, just so we're both comfortable with the arrangement.
