A quiet house, with one other professional occupant, the live in landlady. The house has recently been decorated with some incomplete corners/ongoing work on the ground floor.
The landlady works in an office Mon-Fri, but also has on-call responsibilities so can be in and out at unusual times.
No drinking, smoking or coming home drunk. No drugs and no loud music. It is expected that you can keep the room clean and tidy.
There is an office space available for occassional home working. Regular homeworking considered with an increase in rent. Couples considered with an increased rent.
Shared living room, dining room and kitchen. No TV, although there is a TV licence and you are welcome to have your own in the bedroom. It is expected that you would help with some household chores. The house is not a hotel.
Parking is available on Gratrix Lane on on the road opposite. Shops a short walk away in Sowerby Bridge. Local area quiet, but easy to get to train station (15mins), bus stops (10mins), or M62 motorway via Rippondon.
