🏡 The retired lady is looking for a lady lodger or a couple to move into this cottage. The accommodation is beautiful; the lodger will have sole use of a newly renovated cottage. The lodger would provide 15-20 hours a week of their spare time in exchange for this affordable accommodation. The retired lady lives in the main house.

🗺️ LOCATION:
The home is a 15 minute drive to Chippenham train station. The train station has regular services to London Paddington every half hour. This accommodation is rural - being a car driver is essential as there is no public transport. There is use of a car if the lodger would like to use this. Please review the map on this advert for the approximate location. We are unable to share the exact location.

🗝️ THE HOUSE:
• 3 bedroom farmhouse, with the lodger's accommodation in a separate cottage.
• The lodger's accommodation: it is actually a small cottage which has a double room with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV unit and sofa. The cottage is being fully renovated and will be ready by the end of September.
• En-suite shower room (no bath)
• Ample space for working from home.

• Beautiful expansive garden with incredible views
• A friendly dog is welcome. There is a small resident dog in the main house and not the cottage, so a cat would not be appropriate.

🛌THE IDEAL LODGER:
The retired lady is looking for a lady lodger over 25 years that can assist 15 hours a week, mainly in the early evening and some weekends, with company, some cooking 3-4 evening meals, walking the dog, setting up the wood burner once a day, and occasional lifts out and about. This will suit someone working from home or working hybridly or working from an office. The retired lady enjoys Radio 4, the Daily Telegraph, the daily crossword, cards and simple board games, and was previously a keen gardener. The retired lady no longer drives. She has a helper most mornings and a very supportive family. The lady has very mild memory issues.

-£170 per month (for an individual or couple)
(All rent, bills and Share My Home subscription are included in these amounts). There are no other costs. Please note this is an ongoing subscription which ends when you move out.
