Country cottage, 15 minutes from Salisbury

Shepherd's Cottage is set in rural countryside, yet within easy driving of both Downton (3 miles) and Salisbury (6 miles).

Surrounded by fields and with nearest neighbour 1/4 mile.

Double bedroom with lots of storage space. The bedroom has a large wardrobe, with shelves and hanging space, a large desk, and bookshelves.

The bathroom has a good power shower, and when we have the occasional Airbnb guest, the bathroom will be shared (I have my own bathroom). (Fun to meet other guests?)

Total shared use of large kitchen with table overlooking open countryside, where you may see deer, rabbits, pheasant, hare etc. The kitchen has a solid fuel rayburn, which keeps it cosy in the evening and warm for morning breakfast.

Total shared use of large garden.

Although I say that the sitting room is not shared, I usually do not go in there until 8 - 9 pm, and it is all yours until then, should you wish, sitting in the armchair or sofa, with log fire burning.

Fast fibre broadband.

I have a well behaved black labrador and 2 cats.

If it is for one person, the rate is £180 a week. Should you be a couple, it would be £240 a week.

Own transport essential (no bus).

I only wish ladies and gentlemen who "go out to work".
