2 bedroom house in Old Town (Jan - June 2027)

Hi I'm Fiona. Come and live in my home, renovated and cared for since I moved in.

I'm going away for a while with work, so the house would be suitable for either
- a couple or small family looking for their own space to take both rooms, or
- 2 individuals.

No smokers (even if you only smoke outside).

Otherwise everyone is welcome, from all walks of life and no matter where you come from.

If you are friendly, respectful, clean and sociable we will get on well. Party animals need not apply.

The bungalow is accessible via steps and a steep driveway. There are 3 bedrooms in total, 1 large bathroom with a separate bath and shower cubicle, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, living room, separate utility room with a washing machine, separate pantry/storage room, and conservatory with a view of the private garden that is spread over different levels. There is also a patio area and small area of decking with an old shed. The garden is south facing, not overlooked by any neighbouring properties and the whole house gets lots of natural light. The house is fully furnished throughout, and you are welcome to use the shared rooms and contents.

The large double bedroom has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and matching chair and footstool. The smaller bedroom has a single bed/day bed. There is also a desk and office chair in here, making it suitable for working from home.

The street is a quiet cul-de-sac between Kingshill and Eastcott Hill, with on street permit parking available. A 10 minute walk to the train station, designer outlet village and town centre. A 10-20 minute walk to the near and far side of Old Town, with many independent shops, restaurants and pubs/bars. Close to Great Western Park, Radnor Street Cemetery (now a nature reserve) and the old Wilts and Berks canal route for nearby walks amongst nature.

Rent to include fast broadband internet, council tax (Band B) and Disney Plus. Energy and water to be paid for separately according to usage each month.

Please note that this is a 3 bedroom house, however I will retain one bedroom for storing my possessions, therefore am renting out the rest of the house. This is a 6-8 month arrangement, shorter lets may be available. The legal contract will be for lodgers, not tenants.
