I’m looking for a female, non-smoking and non-vaping professional to join my cosy Victorian home.

The house is intended to be a calm, female household of three, with everyone having their own space and sharing comfortable, well-kept facilities. It’s a welcoming home and would suit someone who enjoys a bit of company but is equally happy doing their own thing.

The bedroom

The freshly decorated, fully furnished en-suite double bedroom has a lovely view over the garden and is ready to move into now. It has:

- Brand-new en-suite bathroom, with shower, heated towel rail, toilet, sink, mirror cabinet and storage cupboard under the sink.
- Brand-new small double ottoman bed and brand-new mattress

- Plenty of natural light and a peaceful view over the garden and Trinity Church - perfect spot for your morning coffee in bed!

Your own private garden office/studio

At the bottom of the garden, there is a well-built, fully insulated 3.5m × 4.5m garden office/studio, which is included in the rent and is for your exclusive use. It is unfurnished, giving you a blank canvas to set it up to suit your needs.

It's ideal for working from home, music practice, as well as art, creative work or simply having your own quiet space.

- Superfast internet (500 Mbps)
- Soundproofing
- Full carpeting
- Blackout blind, useful for photography and other creative work
- Large garden-facing window with a sound-insulating window design

For insurance reasons, the garden office/studio can't be used for overnight sleeping or for having clients visit.

The household is mostly plant-based. Eating meat isn't a deal breaker, but if you do, I’d ask you to use your own utensils and cookware (e. g. chopping boards, wooden utensils) for preparing it.

The garden

The garden is a lovely space with 2 patio areas, shrubs, fruit trees, a herb bed and a vegetable plot. You are welcome to get involved with sowing, planting or tending the veg if you enjoy that, and of course you’re welcome to enjoy the produce!

A little about me

I’m a 47-year-old female German/British professional who works partly from home and also spends time away for work and travel. I enjoy nature, music, travelling, languages, gardening, cooking, Pilates and choir. I like having a calm, clean, comfortable and welcoming home.

I already have one professional female lodger moving into another room soon, so the person living in this room will complete the household. We're independent but enjoy having someone around to chat to, while equally valuing everyone's privacy and time to themselves.
