Double room for cat friendly vegetarian

Double room for vegetarian/pescatarian - or someone who is willing not to cook meat in the house while living here.

Two cats, so read no further if you’re not keen on cats - although I am more than happy for you to keep your bedroom door closed all the time to deny them access to your bed! They both like friendly lodgers who will open the back door for them, to save them the effort of using the cat flap, and who will believe them when they tell you I have not fed them for days.

SHARED shower room.

The room is newly decorated, has a double bed with a new mattress, 55” TV on a bracket on the wall, and plenty of storage.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, air fryer, etc.

There is a small shared living room.

The house is a bungalow in a quiet cul de sac, secluded back garden, driveway parking.

Powerful electric bike for you to use whenever.

I live in Westbury, which has excellent transport links; the train station is a 7 minute walk from the house, 30 minutes to Bath by train. Good range of supermarkets nearby and gyms.

I’m looking for a considerate and respectful housemate, who would appreciate a relaxed, friendly, clean and comfortable home with one other who is 65 yrs old. Good bathroom manners are essential, as we would be sharing a shower room! Although friendly and up for a chat I do like my own company too, and you ideally are the same.

This let is not suitable if you smoke, vape or are a heavy drinker. And I prefer outdoor shoes to be left at the door, please.

I work full time on a 7 day rota. You must be in full time work/college, although occasional WFH is okay.

My interests are mainly gardening and animals, I'm currently making my garden extra wildlife friendly for all the local wildlife, which includes hedgehogs. I plan to start growing my own veg this winter, without pesticides, you would be welcome to help yourself to anything.

The rent includes council tax, TV licence, broadband, utilities, all household cleaning products.

Short term lets welcome, 2 months minimum. Monday to Friday lets too, with a reduced rent. Available from 1st July.
