Double room for rent in house share Bedminster

Hello wonderful people!

We’re looking for a new housemate to join us in our house in Bedminster!

What we’re looking for: a relaxed, tidy and friendly person who likes cats. Queer/AFAB preferred. We love our home and like to keep it cosy and easy to be in!

Money 💰
•⁠ ⁠Rent is £633.34 due on the 22nd of every month.
•⁠ ⁠Bills are around £175ish, we keep an emergency fund for any unexpected payments.
•⁠ ⁠Deposit is £600, paid to the lovely Flick who you’ll be taking over from.
•⁠ ⁠The house is managed by an agency, so references will be needed.
•⁠ ⁠The move in date is the 21st of December, with a small amount of flexibility.

Location 🗺️
•⁠ ⁠The house is located on west street in Bedminster, with a bus stop just outside (76/75/24 and A1) and Parson street station less than 2 minutes walk away.
•⁠ ⁠We’re in walking distance to both north street and east street, so tons of cafés, charity shops and things to do.
•⁠ ⁠big supermarkets like Asda, Aldi and Lidl are all less than 20 mins walk away.

The house 🏡
•⁠ ⁠The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bath! 🛁
•⁠ ⁠We have a large kitchen and dining area and a cosy lounge with a bay window.
•⁠ ⁠A private Garden with a gorgeous willow tree, pull up bar and shed! Great for picnics and lounging in the sun.

Us ✨
•⁠ ⁠you’ll be living with Rose (25, she/her) , Klaus (25, she/her) and Socks (7, me/ow) We’re a tidy, queer and poly friendly house!
•⁠ ⁠Rose works full time and likes to be out and about in the city 🏙️ thrifting, reading, gigs and hair dye experiments are some of her favourite things to do! She’s always willing to help with any DIY.
•⁠ ⁠Klaus is currently a full time student studying psychology at UOB. She does circus and loves being outside in any form. She likes to make music and has her own decks! She’s also the lead tenant, managing bills and repairs.
•⁠ ⁠Possibly the best member of the house is Klaus’ cat Socks 🐈‍⬛Socks is a very loved member of the house and it’s really important to us to find someone who wants to engage with her and feels comfortable letting her roam around. She loves people, her mouse string toy and looking out the window. She’s an outdoor/indoor cat and all her vet/food costs are handled by Klaus. She isn’t too keen on other pets unfortunately.

The Room 🛌
•⁠ ⁠a cute room next to the upstairs bathroom, the room comes unfurnished and ready to make your own!
•⁠ ⁠It has a lovely window overlooking the garden
•⁠ ⁠Although it’s a smaller space, you could have pretty much exclusive use of the room off of the kitchen. Could be a great office or storage space if you wfh.

Timeline ⏰
•⁠ ⁠we plan to respond to all messages received by the 17th of this month, with viewings taking place the week after.
•⁠ ⁠We’d love to find our new roomie soon, ideally by the end of the month.
