New Barnet - Modern Furnished Room

Hello! I have a fully furnished double room available for single occupancy in a modern, recently refurbished two-bedroom flat in New Barnet, sharing with one professional male.

I'm easy-going, clean and respectful, and I'm looking for someone with a similar mindset who'll feel at home here. I work full-time and, outside of work, I'm usually at the gym or catching up with friends and family at weekends.

It's a relaxed and peaceful home rather than a party flat. It would be great to live with someone who's friendly and happy to have a chat in the evenings, while also being comfortable doing their own thing and respecting each other's space.

The room

The room is fully furnished and includes:

- Double bed with built-in under-bed storage
- Full-height double wardrobe with drawers
- Separate chest of drawers
- Bedside table

The flat

The flat has recently been fully refurbished and is modern, clean and well looked after. It includes a newly fitted bathroom and shared kitchen.

All bills are included in the rent, including:

- Gas and electricity
- Water
- Council Tax
- Wi-Fi (60 Mbps)

Parking is also available at the front of the property.

Location & transport
The flat is in a convenient part of New Barnet, with excellent transport links, green spaces, gyms and everyday amenities all within easy reach:

- New Barnet Station: approx. 7-minute walk (0.3 miles)
- Victoria Recreation Ground: approx. 4-minute walk (0.2 miles), just behind the flat
- PureGym: approx. 5-minute walk (0.2 miles)
- New Barnet Leisure Centre: approx. 4-minute walk (0.2 miles)
- Sainsbury's: approx. 7-minute walk (0.3 miles)
- High Barnet Underground Station: approx. 13 minutes by bus
- Shell petrol station: approx. 6-minute walk (0.3 miles)

There are also plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafés, takeaways and local shops nearby.

Who I'm looking for

Ideally, I'm looking for a full-time working professional who is clean, considerate and easy-going.

Someone who mainly works outside the flat would be preferable, although I'm open to discussing hybrid or remote working arrangements.

I'm hoping to find someone who's friendly and sociable and happy to have a chat now and then, but who also enjoys their own space and independence.

Ultimately, I'd like this to feel like a comfortable home for both of us, rather than simply sharing the same space.
