Double Room in 2-bed flat in Blackheath

Hi, I'm Harry, and I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in a well‑kept 2‑bed flat in Blackheath. My current flatmate of seven years is moving out in December, so I’m hoping to find someone who’ll enjoy a relaxed, friendly home.

The room is a small double — ideal if you’re looking for an affordable place in a great area. While the bedroom itself isn’t huge, the flat makes up for it with a large, bright living room that’s perfect for relaxing, working, or hanging out.

If you work from home, you’re very welcome to use the living room as your workspace — my current flatmate has done this for years, and it works really well as I have a larger bedroom with my own desk.

I work in the charity sector as an events manager and WFH 3–4 days a week. I’m sociable and enjoy sharing dinners, watching TV with a glass of wine, or just having a chat in the evenings — but I also really value personal space and quiet time, and I’ll always respect yours.

I’m hoping to find someone who’s similarly easygoing, considerate, and happy to make the flat feel like a home rather than just a place to sleep.

The flat is in a great spot:

- 15‑minute walk to Blackheath Village and Blackheath Station (direct trains to London Bridge)
- Several bus routes nearby heading to North Greenwich for the Jubilee line
- Quiet residential area with green spaces and local shops within easy reach

Rent: £725 per month
Bills: approx. £190 per month (gas, electric, water, WiFi, Council Tax)
