Description
Hi there!
We're Kate and Sarah, both 29 (nearly 30 - cry!) and we currently rent a really cute three bedroom top floor flat on Brixton Road. Our current amazing flatmate is unfortunately moving out to live with her partner (RIP) so we now need a new comrade!! The room is super affordable at £540 per month with bills averaging to just over £100 a month. It's also a 4-minute walk to the tube and the rail so an IDEAL location. As the room is on the smaller side, someone office-based the majority of the time would be preferable as working from home space is limited.
The deposit is 6 weeks of rent and the room must be taken over from 31st October as our current flatmate moves out on the 30th.
So... a bit about us!!
Kate - I'm a trained musician (classical singer) who now works in artist management. During the week, I'm generally busy with work but on the weekends I love being able to go out and socialise/generally explore what London has to offer. During my downtime (or, most likely, recovery from the weekend!), I love to just chill out and slog in front of the TV with a crappy netflix series. Be prepared for very niche film and TV quotes....
Sarah - I'm a CBT Therapist with a drama degree (realised after completion that I actually cannot act). I love cheese, eating all in sight, wine, lord of the rings, cats, horror films and (like Kate) watching terrible reality TV under multiple blankets. I love psychology, true crime and discussing why men do the strange things they do.
Both Kate and I are single gals who do enjoy the dating scene and meeting new people (for better or for worse). We enjoy going out to bars, gigs, hosting drinks and the creative scene in the north London warehouse district.
We are both sociable, liberal, open-minded type B gals who are open to chatting about everything and anything. We are looking for a like-minded, chilled housemate who can share in this and join us for hungover takeaways. LGBT friendly is a must!!
Despite our chaotic-sounding social lives (*read - fun) the flat is small and so our flatmate would need to keep on top of dishes (no dishwasher, sorry!) and be generally clean and respectful.
The flat is on the smaller side so we want to make sure the person that joins us matches our vibe and lifestyle.
Please feel free to message or contact us to arrange a meeting/viewing/wee tipple and let's see if we vibe?
