Hello!

I’m a 32-year-old architect working and living in South London. I’ve rented this lovely flat for the past six years with my best friend, who is now moving to Japan, so I’m looking for someone to take the spare double room on a Monday–Friday basis.

It would ideally suit someone who commutes into London for work during the week and wants a comfortable, peaceful base rather than a full-time house share.

I’m gay, very laid-back and friendly, and enjoy cooking, reading and having a quiet, clean and cosy home. My wild partying days are sadly behind me haha, although I’m sociable, enjoy a beer and seeing friends, and am out quite a lot. The flat is very much somewhere to come home and relax.

I’m looking for someone similarly friendly, mature and considerate who will treat the flat as their home while they’re here.

THE ROOM
A good-sized double room for London, approximately 3m x 3.5m, with a large wardrobe and plenty of storage available.

The flat has a shared bathroom, separate kitchen and comfortable shared living room.

Furniture already provided in the bedroom:
- Double Bed
- Chest of Drawers
- Full Height inbuilt wardrobe, drawers and storage

LOCATION
The flat is on the top floor of a lovely Victorian villa overlooking a small park, which makes the street unusually quiet and green for somewhere so central in Brixton.

Despite the peaceful setting, Brixton Underground and National Rail stations are only around a five-minute walk away, giving incredibly easy access to the Victoria line and central London. Loughborough Junction is also around a 10-minute walk away.

You get all the restaurants, pubs, shops and energy of Brixton on the doorstep, while the flat itself feels tucked away from the noise.
