The room has a built-in wardrobe. There is a kitchen with all the household appliances, a dishwasher, a separate toilet and a bathroom.
I am a living-in landlord and expect my lodgers to help keep the communal area tidy and clean.
One of the biggest train stations Clapham Junction is about 5-minute walking distance, supermarkets Asda and Lidl are also within a similar distance, the nearest high street is about a 10-minute walk, there are pubs, shops, a large number of various restaurants and all the high street facilities.
Transport to central London by train: 2 stops from Clapham Junction to London Victoria or Waterloo Station, the stations are connected to the London Underground system.
Bus: 19 44 45 49 77 170 219 319 344 345 all directly go into different parts of central London. 37 39 337 go in different directions outside London.
Overground: the train network gives access to local and national networks.
To the airport: There is a direct train to Gatwick Airport from Clapham Junction (a 30-minute journey). Bus 49 and 349 only take 10 minutes to go to South Kensington Underground Station, The Piccadilly line from there will take you to all the terminals at Heathrow Airport. Or take the train to Victoria Station and then take the coach to Heathrow Airport terminals 1 2 and 3, the inner airport train will then take you to terminals 4 and 5.
The Imperial College is also nearby. The famous Battersea Park and Battersea Bridge are also within walking distance. Battersea Bridge leads into the Chelsea Embankment area and Kings Road.
The monthly rent excludes council tax, electricity, water and gas, the bill is around £90 per month per person.
Short renting is possible (ideal for people to have a short break in London), but the price will vary.
All the lodgers must have legal status in the UK and proof of stable income (not for the short letting).
