Double Room, Own Bathroom, Balcony | Clapham North

Bright, furnished double room with its own bathroom in a top-floor, two-bed, two-bath flat with a wraparound balcony, 30 seconds from Clapham North station.

My flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to take over their room from 22 November.

The room

A good-sized furnished double with plenty of space to make it your own, plus a built-in wardrobe for extra storage.

The bathroom is just for you. It’s not technically an en suite, but I have my own, so there’s no queueing for the shower in the morning!

The flat

The flat is on the third floor, and that height brings plenty of light. The open-plan kitchen and living room has skylights and is big enough to cook, relax, watch TV or have friends over without feeling on top of each other. The wraparound balcony is a real bonus when London gives us some sun!

There’s a washing machine, and with just two of us it’s always felt more like a home than a typical London flatshare.

Getting around

Clapham North (Northern line): a 30-second walk.
Clapham High Street (Overground, Windrush line): about a 5-minute walk.
Stockwell (Victoria and Northern lines): about a 10-minute walk.

Clapham High Street’s bars, restaurants and gyms are on the doorstep, and Clapham Common and Brixton are both within walking distance.

Who you’ll be living with

Me, Yash. I’m in my 20s and work in tech. I spend most weekdays in the office, wfh 1-2 days a week. I enjoy spending spare time watching movies, playing sports, and reading. Typical weekend involves a baking session, so expect to get your fair share of sweet treats!

I’m looking for someone friendly, considerate and easy to get along with. Ideally that’s someone who’d enjoy a chat or hanging out now and then, but who also values their own space. There aren’t loads of rules. We just respect each other’s space and do our bit to keep the place nice.
