I have a bright, spacious double room (18' by 8'5) available for rent a few minutes' walking distance from Clapham North tube and Clapham High St stations. My name is Pete, I'm a social, easy-going guy and I'm looking for a friendly, considerate and tidy professional to share the house with.

The room has been recently decorated and comes fully furnished with 2 chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and lamps. There is also space for a desk. You're welcome to bring your own furniture if you prefer. The room gets lots of natural light and there is plenty of storage and space.

The house has a bathroom, a separate kitchen and living room, a large private garden with BBQ and a separate porch for bikes & umbrellas. Kitchen facilities include a washing machine as well as a dishwasher and large fridge freezer. All bills are included in the rent.

You will be sharing the house with me. It's a big house (990 sq ft) spanning two floors - so it makes for a relaxed, comfortable living environment with plenty of space. I keep the place tidy and have an active social life, appreciating the cultural benefits of living in London as well as its nightlife. I keep myself fit and healthy so am out and about quite a bit though I sometimes like a quiet night in. I'm originally from London and I speak Spanish, French and Portuguese. Interests include travel, photography and literature. It's important we get along although I will respect your privacy - the room is big enough to keep to yourself from time to time.

The house is in a prime location on a quiet, safe residential street with no traffic or noise pollution very close to the amenities of Clapham High Street and Clapham Common. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, gyms and pubs nearby so it's a great area to live. Transport links are excellent: you have the Northern Line and Train Station right on your doorstep and you can easily get to the city centre in under 20 minutes.
