The room is not available until mid September.
I have a large, bright, furnished double room with lots of storage available in my 2 bedroomed flat. The flat is in a new build development (5 years old) and has a large open plan living room/kitchen and large balcony. There is also access to outside space exclusively for flat tenants with table tennis, picnic style tables and a kids playground (see photos). There is a car park located opposite the front door (however it's not exclusive to people who live in the flats and you need to pay from 9am - 4pm weekdays or you are able to buy a permit). There is very limited free parking available outside (about 8 spaces). There is secure bike storage available also.
The flat is located a 6 minute walk from Colindale Station, on the 24hr strand of the Northern Line. Colindale to Kings Cross is just 22mins on the tube and you can be in London Bridge in 32mins. HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE COLINDALE STATION IS CLOSED UNTIL DECEMBER. A rail replacement service and bus stop are both in close proximity and go to stations on either side of Colindale. Mill Hill Broadway station is nearby. Easy access to Brent Cross Shopping Centre and Edgware via bus (bus stop within 1 minute walk of the front door). There is a Sainsbury's Local within a 2 minute walk as well as a gym, a cash point and a pharmacy. Asda and Morrison's along with Bang Bang Oriental food hall, M&S and Aldi are all nearby, as well as more gyms and other amenities such as a post office.
The room has:
- neutral decor
- a Silent Night mattress
- double bed with 4 drawer storage and headboard
- two large bedside tables
- three door wardrobe with full length mirror
- tall boy chest of drawers
There is room for a small desk but this isn’t supplied. My previous tenant was able to fit one in comfortably whilst working from home.
Kitchen includes washer/dryer, microwave, Nutribullet, dishwasher as well as all the other usual stuff.
Please note the flat is on the 3rd floor with no lift. This makes it very secure, but not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.
All bills included within the price of rent. Ideally I want someone who does not work from home every day.

I am 35 and a teacher. I love to travel. I enjoy music, reading, socialising and cooking. I tend to be pretty chilled and at home in the evenings midweek due to work. On the weekend I enjoy seeing friends, going for dinner etc. I’m attempting to be a gym goer. I am looking for a friendly tenant who is *very* clean, works sociable hours and is a non smoker. I am easy to live with - one if my previous housemate stayed for over a year and the one before 3 years and only moved out due to buying her own flat. Cleanliness is paramount for me and someone who is happy to socialise a bit and have a chat/watch a series, but also get on with our own things. I would prefer a flatmate who does not work from home every day.
If you need any other info or would like to arrange a viewing feel free to contact me. I would prefer a shorter term tenancy of 3-8 months, but this is not a deal breaker.
