A warm and friendly older lady with some reduced mobility and a little memory loss is seeking a Sharer for her home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week (usually over the course of 4-5 evenings in the week plus a little time at the weekends), in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home with picking up shopping, cooking around four or five meals each week (plus some batch cooking), some ironing, taking out the bins, simple IT support/emails/buying tickets, finding things, accompany on some outings and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed. She has a regular cleaner but you would lend a hand and leave the kitchen and bathroom clean after use, as in any Homeshare. Please note that she has a cat.

The accommodation on offer is a small single bedroom, a bathroom with bath and separate shower that is shared with another lodger (who pays full market rent and has no helping responsibilities), and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and small garden.

The property is in an excellent location in a lovely residential area of Fulham, an easy walk to West Brompton, Fulham Broadway and Parson’s Green Underground Stations (all approx. 10-15 minutes’ walk away).

She is a fine artist who still creates artworks in her home studio, she enjoys going for a walk, going to art exhibitions, going to her local Catholic church, reading the Telegraph, watching TV such as BBC 4 documentaries, theatre, music and art. She goes to the gym. She has lived abroad before, including Italy and Paris, and has started Italian lessons so if someone spoke Italian that would be a positive. She also loves Italian food.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
