We are James and Anne-Lise. Our flatmate Maria is moving in with her boyfriend and so this lovely room with en-suite is available in our flat.
The room is available 19 January, with some flexibility on the date.
I am from Oxford and Anne-Lise is from Ivory Coast and we are looking for a friendly, open-minded person to move in.
We're looking for decent, reliable person who will help us look after the flat and value it as a home. We keep it to a fairly clean standard and it's generally quite easy to look after.
We would also like someone we can get to know a bit, so somewhat sociable people preferred. In terms of vibe and general lifestyle we potter and sometimes go out at weekends (not necessarily together). Anne-Lise is quite artistic and into design. I'm interested in art, I go swimming several times a week, and I also do music production as a hobby (with headphones on!) in the week we try to prioritise precious sleep and be quiet at night.
Without a doubt this is the best place both of us have ever lived. It's a wonderful flat. It's on a quiet street, away from the main road and gets plenty of light and fresh air.
The kitchen is modern and has a fridge and freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher (but it is currently broken!!). The living room is lovely, but we no longer have the music set-up :'(
Bottom line:
Rent £1068.50 pcm + bills (c. tax, gas, elec, internet = £104) + water, which is quite modest, paid every few months.
Deposit approx 6 weeks rent (I think!)
There is a reference check. In the past the check has asked for an income of 30X rent, so £32,000 per annum.
