Description
I am going away for most of September and am looking to sublet my flat. Officially I am gone Sept 8-30 but I am going home to help out with some stuff, which means the dates are a bit flexible. It could end up being Sept 1 to mid October, so that is the rough range that is available for sublet.
It is technically a 2 bedroom flat but I use one room as an office so it's a great spot for a couple or someone who wants to work in the flat, or just likes extra space.
The building is quiet, neighbours are nice, it's less than 2 minutes to Victoria Park, about 5 minutes to London Fields and Broadway Market. For those who don't know London, it's a very vibrant, creative area with lots of bars, restaurants, markets etc. The entire borough of Hackney has this vibe so it's also a great area to walk and explore. It's also easy to walk into Shoreditch and explore Brick Lane, or to De Beauvoir Town and Islington. Overall I think it is the best area in the city (I am of course biased).
When you want to go farther than walking distance, Bethnal Green station is about 10-15 minutes walk away for the Central Line. London Fields and the Weaver Line is about 8 minutes walk away, and that can get you to Liverpool Street and then onwards to almost anywhere. Many buses run down Mare Street (3 minutes walk) and go all over the city. And then of course there are Lime bikes and Santander bikes all over the place if you like cycling.
As I say there are plenty of great bars and restaurants in the area (happy to give some recommendations if desired) but there are also several supermarkets a short walk way.
I am very flexible on who this is for, really just someone who is going to be respectful of the flat itself and also the neighbours. (Ideally someone who can water houseplants too!). So feel free to message with any questions.
