Room in a 2-bed in Clapton (Hackney)

Hiii! My flatmate is moving out soon so I’ve got a room in a 2-bed maisonette available from early December. We’re just off Chatsworth Road, a short walk from Homerton station (Mildmay line). The flat is pretty much bang in the middle of east London, with easy walking and cycling connections to Hackney, Dalston, Stoke Newington, London Fields, Victoria Park etc. We have a small patio garden, but we're also on a council estate with a big communal green space and lovely neighbours. We rent from a private landlady who's really responsive and helpful, so no agency bullshit. Bills per person are roughly £160.

A bit about me: I’m 29, work in climate policy and resident engagement at Islington Council, but also do lots of fun food stuff on the side. I'm currently training to be a chef and doing a big old career pivot!
I love cooking and hosting friends for dinners, heading to the pub for some Guinness or orange wine, trying out cafés and restaurants in the area, going out dancing or catching a film at the cinema (we're right by Castle Cinema, which does £6 Mondays x). There's also a fun food market every Sunday on Chatsworth Road, and some of my favourite pilates and yoga studios that I'd be happy to show you around!

I'm a bit of a homebody too and love keeping our shared spaces cute, tidy and peaceful. There's always at least one vase of fresh flowers, if not more!
