A large double room with a private en‑suite bathroom is available in my home in SE11, within the Baylis Old School development.
THE ROOM
The room is fully furnished and comes with a king‑size bed (quality mattress), a very large built‑in wardrobe, and your own private en‑suite bathroom.
THE SETUP (IMPORTANT)
This is my home rather than a typical rental, and I’m only renting the room for a few months while I’m in and out of the country. In practice, you’ll have the flat to yourself a lot of the time, so it should feel more like your own place than a standard house share.
THE FLAT
It is a modern, new‑build apartment with everything needed for easy day‑to‑day living, including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso machine.
LOCATION
The flat is extremely well connected and central. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the Thames/Westminster area, and the Southbank and Central London are an easy stroll away. You have four Underground stations within a 10–15 minute walk: Kennington, Westminster, Lambeth North, and Vauxhall.
The neighbourhood is quiet but has great local options including pubs, cafés, and galleries. Newport Street Gallery and Pharmacy 2 are nearby, and the area is increasingly known as the Vauxhall art district.
BILLS
Rent is all‑inclusive: bills, high‑speed internet, and streaming services are included.
