I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in a lovely 2 bed flat located in a Victorian house in Lewisham. The available room is a good-sized, unfurnished bedroom that can easily fit a double bed. My current flatmate also has multiple shelving units in there too! It comes with a small built-in style wardrobe/cupboard.
About the flat:
Situated on the 1st floor of a split Victorian house
Generous living room with a bay window
A small kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer
Bathroom with bath and shower
Carpeted throughout, except in the kitchen and bathroom
There's also a hall and staircase to the front door.
The bedroom faces the back of the house, so the flat is quiet despite its proximity to the main road. Double glazing ensures there's no noise disturbance.
Located on the main road between Lewisham DLR & Train Station and Goldsmiths University, it has excellent transport links:-
St John’s station (5 minutes)
Lewisham station (10 minutes)
New Cross & New Cross Gate (under 20 minutes)
Several bus routes heading North and South West
Local Amenities:
There's a cafe about 10 doors down and a good pub round the corner
The flat is close to multiple small food shops; Londis, Tesco, Sainsbury's
With some larger supermarkets nearby: Asda, Sainsbury's, Lidl
Lewisham Shopping Centre is about 15 minutes away
It's also close to Deptford and Brockley with multiple cafe/brunch/dinner/drinking options
I’m looking for a flatmate around my age (34), ideally another professional who’s friendly, tidy and enjoys a relaxed but social vibe. Someone who’s happy to have the occasional chat or hang out.. If you’re looking for a calm, homey atmosphere with a bit of socialising now and then, we’ll likely get along.
The flat is available from 1st October 2025. The contract will run for 1 year but I have renewed it 2 years in a row.
It's £850 pcm with bills on top, totalling at £175.91 - this includes council tax (band B), WiFi, energy and water.
The property is managed by a local letting agent, though the landlord's son lives next door, which is handy as he is available to check any issues or carry out small repairs.
I'll be hosting viewings from w/c 1st September as I'm travelling for work 24th - 30th September.
