Double Room Available in a Friendly, Relaxed Home
A generous, fully furnished double bedroom is available in a comfortable 3-bedroom home, ideally suited to a professional looking for a clean, relaxed and respectful place to live.

- Bright and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax and work from home
- Double-glazed window
- Ready to move into
The house
- Shared bathroom and fully equipped kitchen
- Garden access — great for morning coffee or relaxing on summer evenings
- Large shared storage room for boxes, hoovers, ladders and other household items
- Weekly cleaning of the shared areas included
- All bills included, including WiFi
The house has three bedrooms in total. I'll be living in one of the rooms, with the other two available to rent. I'm looking to create a clean, comfortable and easy-going household where everyone has their own space but feels at home.
A little about me:
I'm friendly, approachable and clean, with a pretty busy lifestyle. I work two jobs and also train intensively, so I'm often out and about. I regularly work night shifts as well, so I'm generally not someone who spends all day around the house.
When I'm not working or training, I enjoy going out dancing, particularly Bachata, listening to music, watching stand-up comedy on YouTube and the occasional TV series.
I'd describe myself as friendly but independent. I'm happy to have a chat and get to know the people I live with, but I also appreciate everyone having their own space and doing their own thing.
I'm clean and will always clean up after myself, and I'd expect the same from anyone sharing the house. For deeper cleaning, I've included £50 in the rent to cover a cleaner every week for the shared areas — kitchen, bathroom and corridor.
The kitchen is available for everyone to use freely, and everything you need for normal cooking will be provided. Because we'll be sharing one bathroom, I'm also open to having a simple house group chat where we can let each other know about plans, guests or times we're likely to be using the kitchen or bathroom. Nothing formal — just an easy way to communicate and avoid getting in each other's way.
I'm a non-smoker myself, although I'm happy to share with a smoker provided smoking is kept outside in the garden and the house remains smoke-free.
What I'm looking for
I'm open to sharing with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Everyone is welcome, and the most important things to me are that you're clean, considerate, respectful and comfortable with a friendly but independent household.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone who's planning to stay 6 months or longer and who will treat the house as their home.
I'm not looking for a party house, but I'm also not expecting everyone to tiptoe around each other. Normal day-to-day living, having friends over and enjoying the house are all absolutely fine — just with reasonable consideration for the other people living here.
Partners/overnight guests are welcome occasionally, with longer stays something we can simply discuss beforehand.
I'm looking to rent each room to one person rather than couples.
Location
- 2-minute walk to the DLR station
- Approximately 25 minutes to Bank
- Approximately 15 minutes to Stratford
- Easy access to Canary Wharf and central London
Price
£940 per month — all bills included, including WiFi and weekly cleaning of the communal areas.
No surprise costs — just move in and settle in.
