We’re a small household of busy professionals who love our work, our hobbies, and keeping a calm, happy home. We’re friendly and easy to live with, while also really respecting each other’s privacy and personal space.
Our home has a warm, peaceful, and genuinely homely atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax, be yourself, share your hobbies and enjoy a chat over coffee or a glass of wine if you feel like it (or not — totally up to you).
The house is comfortable and well organised, with everything you need and lovely company when you want it. If you’re looking for that kind of easy, comfortable, and welcoming home, we’d love to hear from you. Here comes the info:
ABOUT THE HOUSE
The house itself is spacious and well organised:
- Each bedroom is situated on its own floor, allowing plenty of space and privacy;
- Big, clean, fully equipped kitchen has everything you may ever need including:
American fridge/freezer, double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, microwave and all other smaller paraphernalia (plates, cutlery etc.)
- Landscaped garden with dining table, coffee table areas and a BBQ you can enjoy.
- Free parking outside the house.
ABOUT YOUR ROOM
- Spacious, bright (recently decorated) double bedroom overlooking the garden. The room comprises of a double bed (with new mattress), chest of drawers, shelves unit, a wardrobe, a desk with a chair.
- Your bathroom is located next to the room and would be shared with 1 clean and tidy female.
GREAT LOCATION
Our house is located in a quiet, leafy street with houses occupied mostly by young families and professionals.
- Local parks and riverside within walking distance.
- A few minutes walk to our highstreet with all the amenities (supermarkets, smaller shops with conventional and exotic food, cafes, gym, library, pharmacy etc.).
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- 5 mins walk to the bus (running every few minutes; night buses).
- 10 mins walk to BR (Plumstead Station); Direct train to all the main stations: London Bridge, Charing Cross, Lewisham, Cannon Street, Greenwich, Blackfriars, St. Pancras even Luton and Hampstead.
- DLR and Elizabeth Line (Woolwich Station) and Clipper Ferry within walking distance or short ride on the bus (a couple of stops) - great for commute to Canary Wharf, City Airport, Stratford, City, West End and other parts of London.
- Easy access to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (13 minutes by car or a short ride on the direct 469 bus).
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Bills included in price (Council Tax, TV Licence, Gas, Electricity, Water and complementary use of Wi-Fi).
- Everybody cleans after themselves, but the common areas are also professionally cleaned twice a month to give that extra shine. It is possible to have your room cleaned upon request at extra cost.
- Minimum stay 1 month.
- Cost: £850 pcm
- £650 deposit and references required.
- Prospective lodgers must provide prove of:
a) right to live and work/study in the UK.
b) proof of current employment, or university enrolment, or ability to pay for the accommodation
Checks will be carried out, as required by local law.
We appreciate honesty, that’s why we use a standard contract to make everything clear from the start, and to protect all parties. I am happy to answer all your questions prior to your visit.
