Double room in friendly house in Mile End/Bow

Hello! We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our friendly, spacious house-share in Bow/Mile End.

- Rent £837; bills approx £110; deposit £900
- Available from 6 September (but can be flexible)
- Viewings on Tuesday 11 August
- Must be 28-35 years old
- Preferably male to even out the gender mix

Location:
We’re less than a 5 minute walk from Mile End tube station (Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines) and a 15 minute walk to Victoria Park, as well as lots of shops and cafés on nearby Roman Road and Mile End Road, and some lovely gastropubs on our doorstep.

The house:
The fully furnished four-bedroom flat is the top half of a Georgian house on the gorgeous Tredegar Square. We have a large, sunny sitting/dining room with floor to ceiling sash windows that overlook a small park in the middle of the square. The big kitchen is well stocked with cookware and crockery, plus a washing machine, dishwasher and two fridges. We have two bathrooms and share an enormous back garden with three other flats who are very friendly neighbours.

The flat is owned by a private landlord, so no agents to deal with. He also has a handyman who is quick to respond to anything that needs fixing or replacing.

Available bedroom:
The available double bedroom comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk, chair and a wash basin.

The flatmates:
Jo is from Oxford and works in branding, Tori is a vet from Australia, and James and Deirdre are an Irish couple; James is a designer and Deirdre works in university fundraising. Our departing flatmate Dan is moving out after 10 years (!!) for a work opportunity in Asia.

We all get along well and often go for a drink or pub quiz but we also all have independent lives. We see our house as a home, not just a flat share. We're looking for someone easy-going, tidy and considerate :)
