Description
Hi,
Welcome! I'm looking for a new flatmate as the lovely Sean has managed to buy a place.
About the flat:
It's a 2 level flat, so it feels really roomy. There's a big living room upstairs and a modern kitchen on the ground floor, which looks out over a leafy garden and patio. There's 1 main bathroom, and an extra loo/mini-bathroom next to the room that's going free.
Your bedroom would be the one on the 1st floor looking over the courtyard, the other bedroom is on the ground floor. There's also 3 massive storage cupboards which is great.
Furniture: The flat comes unfurnished so you'll need bedroom furniture. But in the communal space there'll be a TV, sofa, and desk in the living room, and a table and chairs in the kitchen. I'm in the process of ordering some bits like a coffee table and other furnishings to replace anything that's going, and you'd obviously be welcome to add to the space too :)
The flat is walkable to Peckham Rye and has handy buses to central London v close by. It's 15 mins by bus to Elephant and Castle for the tube. It's also right next to Burgess Park for running or chilling in summer. Camberwell is also only a short walk away.
The rent includes heating but council tax (band B), internet, electric and water not included. Ends up around £1130 per person all in.
About me:
I'm Helen, I'm a copywriter and journalist, and I've lived here for the past 18 months or so. I'm really enjoying the flat and the area so far! I'm looking for someone who's easy-going and reasonably clean etc. the usual stuff. I work in the office mostly, but I'm around in the evenings and usually up for a natter, wine or TV catch-up midweek if you're about. Equally I’m happy doing my own thing. I'm relaxed about us both having people over for dinner etc. too. I'm usually out and about on the weekend seeing friends, going to gigs/ galleries, or attempting the gym. Ideally, I'm looking to live with another woman in her 30s, but that's not set in stone if you think you'd be a good fit. Looking forward to meeting and hearing more about you!
Thanks,
Helen
