Description
I'm moving out of the gaff after almost a year here. It's a pretty gorgeous 3 bed, 3 storey house and is a cracking deal given current rental prices. The two gents you'd be moving in with are unbelievable blokes - both mates of mine for years, albeit we've only been living together for a year. These are two of the most friendly, down to earth, sociable guys I know. Both in their early 30s, both highly emotionally intelligent individuals, both busy socially or with work, both a load of fun when they have time to chill.
One is a doctor, working full-time in our local hospital (one of the dumbest geniuses I have ever met), the other is an occupational therapist by day and guitarist/guitar tech by night (touring with a few bands you might know). They are both on pretty random work patterns, so the house is often yours if you work from home - but in their free time, both active a f and pretty constantly out and about.
They're both out at gigs a lot when in London, and both travel abroad/around the UK a lot, whether surfing/mountain biking/hiking etc. If you happen to speak Spanish, bonus - one is learning Spanish from scratch, the other one is basically fluent, running a Spanish social community in Peckham and travelling to Central America every few months.
We're in a lovely and very calm spot less than a minute walk away from Peckham Rye, just round from the Ivy House pub, with loads of great pubs/cafes/restaurants all over the place. Peckham Rye, Nunhead and New Cross Gate stations are all easily accessible, via a 15-20 min walk, buses that stop outside or by bike/lime bike - makes it really easy to get about. Free street parking avail outside too.
The house is spacious, super comfortable (it's all our own furniture), and everybody has their own bathroom, so never feels on top of each other - even when we've had friends/partners round. It's a super relaxed, welcoming house with a good balance of sociable vibes when people are about, but given variable shift patterns and travel schedules, plenty of space and calm vibes and space to have people round, most of the time.
Both of the boys have their own groups of mates all across London and aren't precious - if it's a good vibe, they would invite you along freely to stuff they're doing, and come out for a pint with your mates whenever it suited.
Looking for somebody similar minded / similar vibe that will fit in. Rent is £885ish so likely hit about a grand with bills included. If it's what you're looking for, drop us a line.
