Description

My lovely flatmate has recently moved out, so I’m looking for someone lovely to take over her room and make the flat their home!

A little about me: I’m 25, turning 26 very soon, and work full-time in banking on a hybrid basis. I’m based in the office three days a week and work from home the other two. I’m pretty chilled, tidy and considerate, and I’d love to live with someone who’s sociable, easygoing and enjoys making a home feel like a home, rather than just somewhere to sleep.

In my spare time, I love café hopping, discovering little hidden gems around London, thrifting, playing tennis and trying new things. I also enjoy a pub trip or a sociable glass of wine, but equally love a cosy evening in. I’m a big fan of cooking and baking, so there are usually cookies or a cake freshly baked in the house, and I’m always happy to share food with my housemate!

I really value having a clean, comfortable space, so I’d love to live with someone who takes pride in keeping the shared areas tidy and treats the flat with care. I’m sociable and always up for a chat, cooking together or doing something fun, but I also completely respect each other’s space and routines.

The flat and room

The flat is a bright, furnished two-bedroom with an open-plan kitchen and living room, a comfy sofa, dining table, smart TV and lots of plants. The modern kitchen has a gas hob, oven and washing machine, and there’s a separate bathroom with a bathtub and overhead shower. There are wood floors and central heating throughout.

The double room comes furnished with a real double bed, desk and chair, bedside table and built-in wardrobe. It also has a large window that lets in plenty of natural light, making it a lovely space to relax or work from home.

Location

The flat sits between Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale, both on the Victoria line, making it really convenient for getting into central London. There are also plenty of shops nearby, including Boots, Lidl, ASDA and Tesco, all within around a 10-minute walk.

The area is lovely and green, with a big park and canals nearby, perfect for walks, morning runs or getting some fresh air.

A little about the room

* Rent: £900 per month
* Deposit: £900
* Bills: Around £80-100 per person per month for utilities and fast Wi-Fi
* Room: Furnished double room
* Stay: No fixed minimum stay, although ideally looking for someone who wants a long-term home
* Household: Non-smoking indoors; dogs are welcome subject to the landlord’s approval

I’d love to find someone who’s looking for more than just a room, and who would enjoy sharing a clean, relaxed and friendly home. If this sounds like your kind of place, please drop me a message! I’d be really happy to answer any questions and arrange a viewing so you can see the flat for yourself.
