Double room in fun (& chill) Stoke Newington house

Hi All,

We're looking for a fourth housemate to join our lovely Stokey home!

• Date available: Monday, 07 December 2026
• Rent: £940 (+ £100 bills)

Room details: Double room with a triple wardrobe and a beautiful view over the backyards of the Stokey terraces. The desk and wooden shelves will stay, and the bed and mattress are available if you'd like them. The room shares a bathroom on the floor below with two others.

Location: We're on a quiet street in Stoke Newington, a 5 min walk to Newington Green, 10 mins to Church Street and Clissold Park, 12 mins to Canonbury and Dalston Kingsland/Junction Overground, and 20+ mins to Highbury & Islington.

We're a few doors down from a great pub, next door to a cafe and bakery with good coffee, and across the road from an off-license that probably knows us too well but has all the essentials!

Housemates (26–32yo):
• Freddie: From Exeter, been in London 9 years, works in a cafe 3-days a week, DJs and does music event support work. Loves a house/techno night and a long-time suffering Tottenham fan but somehow stays positive!
• Darcy: Aussie from Melbourne, lived in London for the last two years. Works in tech, and in the office most days. Runner, chef, likes to stay active but also loves a good pub night and tech event!
• Erin: From Middlesbrough, works full-time in fashion. Expect great fits, chilled, homely vibes. Often out and social and always up for good eats and pub invitations!

We're looking for: Preferably a girl to keep the balance, someone in their late 20s / early 30s who suits our current house dynamic. We're roughly 9–5 workers who are clean and sociable but have our own things going on. We're out and about a fair bit, but also come together by spending time in our lovely, light living room watching TV, chatting or having friends over every now and then. Alternatively, you may find us at the pub for a pint/wine!

Freddie has lived here for 3.5 years, and Darcy and Erin for over a year or so. We're sadly losing another Aussie housemate, Georgia, who's moving in with her boyfriend, but she isn't going far and you'll probs still see her around!

We're excited to find the fourth housemate to complete the vibes. The house is chilled, easy-going, fun and friendly and we're looking for someone who wants to help make it a home.
