Single room in Stokey

Hey hey,

I've recently moved out of my single room in Stokey, because of the 2 month notice period I need to find someone to move in so I don't have to pay rent for 2 flats (I had to move out for a job). Help me pls lol

It is located above the Jolly Butcher's pub, about 6 min walk to Stoke Newington overground station and about 22 min walk to Dalston Kingsland overground. The room is a single on the first floor (only stairs access no lifts). The bed can be accessed via the ladder. You have a wardrobe, cupboards and a sink in the room. It is shared bathroom, but there are 3 floors you can use the bathroom in there if the one closest is taken. You share a kitchen with 2 other people and is locked, so no one else can use it. The kitchen has cupboards and the stove and a small dining area. There are washing machines that are available with pre-paid cards, it's £30 for 10 cards and there's a drier too. If you prefer to air-dry they have drying racks available. There's a cleaner who cleans the hallways and toilets once a week.

Great area to live in especially if you're into cafes/nightlife as there's a lot within walking distance. Sonora Taquiera is literally around the corner, best tacos in London imo! Really good transport links with the overground and buses stopping just outside the house. Clissold Park is also only about 10 min walk away, was my favourite to go to when I lived here especially during the summer. Groceries is also easy, Harvest/Iceland/Whole Foods/oriental grocers (Pachara) all within 10 min walk and if you want to do a big shop there's Aldi, Lidl and Morrisons nearby. The room has a meter you pay £1 or £2 into; I used about 90p per day depending on what you have going. Water is paid for the next 6 months directly to the landlord, council tax is separate.
