Description
Hi all! We are Ivana and María (from US and DR respectively) searching for our next Head Chef. Our lovely flatmate + cat have made it onto the property ladder, which we love for them but unfortunately for us it means that a room has become available in our cosy Stokey flat. Formally the lease would start on the 1st January, however, the room can be available from the 13th December.
The flat comes with a cat flap as we've had cats for the past few years, so furry friends welcomed!
About us - we are both professionals (Urban Planning and Film Law) and have been in London for 5+ years. One of us works full time in the office and the other hybrid. We'd ideally love someone who has a similar schedule.
We've been lucky enough to have had our flatmates become good friends so we'd really love to continue that and for us all to be able to hang out in the flat together (even if it's just parallel playing) and not be hermits in our rooms! But equally, alone time to recharge is always welcome and needed :) we especially like jigsaw puzzles, watching films, charity shopping, TooGoodToGo, reading, cycling, tag rugby and would love to find new flatmates to go hiking with and/or play tennis with!
We try to hold monthly flat supper clubs but our head chef is the one leaving hence cooking skills are highly valued in these desperate times.
We both cycle and tend to keep our bikes inside, however there isn't a huge amount of room for a third bike. But there is plenty of space to lock up the bike outside the flat but within the secure part of the building :)
Previously we have tended to take turns buying things like toilet roll, cleaning supplies, milk, tea, spices etc and this has worked well in the past.
Bills come to around £120-150 a month. Council Tax Band D.
The room comes with the bed, small nightstand, bookshelf and huge in built wardrobe. The rest of the furniture is being taken. The bathroom is shared with one other person.
The furniture in the living room is mainly Ivana's (apart from the couches and high chairs in the kitchen which belong to the landlord). If you come with living room furniture, we can work something out! And there will be plenty of space to add your own books/jigsaw puzzles/plants etc to the space to make it feel like home.
Viewings: We'd love to secure someone soon. We can start viewing from the 10th of November. Tuesdays and Thursdays after work are best but we're flexible :)
