Description
The rent quoted is for full time 7 days per week. The rent is negotiable if you prefer a Monday to Friday let.
This is a large, bright fully furnished double room in a quiet, clean and homely garden flat.
There's a desk and shelves in the room, as well as a large wardrobe and chest of drawers.
You'll be sharing with 2 women: myself (live in landlord) and a Monday-Thursday lodger.
We're both professionals, friendly and laid back. We're not hermits and like a good chat, sometimes over a glass of wine, but we're not party animals either.
The flat is on a quiet and pretty residential street. There is unrestricted on-street parking currently (though this will be changing in the next year or so
There are two cats in the flat, though they've been kept out of your room which has been cleaned and is newly painted.
The living room is not included except by invitation - I will explain when we meet.
The large bright kitchen is the centre of the house and where we socialise.
The garden is a peaceful extension of the house in summer. If you like growing vegetables there will be a spot for you. There is a hammock for lounging in.
It's in a great location for commuters heading into central London or south.
You'll be 4-5 minutes' walk to Streatham Common station (trains to Victoria/E Croydon/London Bridge) and 8 minutes to Streatham station (trains to Blackfriars, Wimbledon and London St Pancras International). There are regular buses to Brixton (for nightlife and Victoria Line tube) and Balham and Tooting Bec or Broadway (for the Northern Line).
Direct buses to St George's and St Thomas' Hospital go from stops nearby.
The green stretch of Streatham Common itself is at the end of the road - nice for an after-work walk to the Rookery gardens and cafe - and there are multiple supermarkets and gyms nearby catering for a range of budgets.
We are looking forward to meeting you! Please tell us about yourself (for example, what you do for a living) when you respond to the ad unless this is on your profile. Unfortunately if there is no detail in your enquiry or evidence you have read the advert I may not respond.
