Lovely Double Room with Private Bathroom & Garden – Streatham Common

I have a lovely, fully furnished double room available in a clean, peaceful and well-kept home, just moments from Streatham Common station.

The room comes with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. I’m also happy to be flexible with the furniture if you’d prefer to bring some of your own.

You’ll have your own private bathroom, located just next to the bedroom, as I have a separate bathroom myself.

🏡 A little about the house

The house has a very spacious living room and a lovely large garden, which is especially nice during the summer months.

It’s located on a quiet residential street, with very little traffic noise, yet just a short walk from Streatham Common station, offering great transport links around London.

The house is clean, cosy and well looked after, and I’d love to keep it that way.

🌿 A little about me

I’m a professional nanny working Monday to Friday. At weekends, I enjoy being active, seeing friends and making the most of my free time, but I also love a quiet evening at home.

I’m friendly, easy-going and sociable, but I also really value my personal space and downtime.

✨ Who I’m hoping to find

Female preferred, as I’d ideally love to share my home with another woman.

I’m looking for a professional who works outside the home, is genuinely clean and tidy, considerate and enjoys a peaceful living environment.

I’d love to find someone who treats the house as a home rather than just somewhere to rent, and who takes pride in keeping shared spaces clean and pleasant.

I’m not looking for us to be attached at the hip or become best friends, but it would be lovely to occasionally share a glass of wine, watch a film or have a nice chat after work. Equally, I completely respect having our own routines, interests and personal space.

You’ll only be sharing the house with me, so this would suit someone looking for a calm, comfortable home rather than a busy house share.

The room will be available from the end of October or beginning of November, with some flexibility.
