Description

Hey potential new housemates.

The Room:

A large attic conversion double room (approximately 16m2) with its own en suite toilet and shower! The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, a desk, chest of drawers, shelving, and a desk chair. As its an attic conversion it has two huge velux windows which given the room the most incredible natural light. The room also has a vast amount of storage as it gives access to the remainder of the attic space not converted.

The House:

Our home is located on a quiet residential street opposite a delightful park. It's mid-terrace with quiet, lovely neighbors either side. We have a secluded garden (approximately 12-15 m2) with plant beds for the green fingered. The garden offers safe storage of out bikes as there is no access to it except through the house. The property itself consists of a living room, a dining room, and kitchen on the ground floor. A double room and bathroom on the first floor. And then the available double room on the second floor. the house is 1 minute from East Street, where there is a fruit and veg market 6 days a week. 1 min from Walworth road, where you will find loads of shops, restaurants, as well as great bus links (inc. the 35, 12, 148). On top of that we are only 10 mins from Elephant and Castle and Kennington tube stations! This also means it's only a 30 minute walk to London Bridge and Waterloo station. Bill's (water, electricity, gas, broadband, and council tax (band D)) come to £350 per month in total, so you should be budgeting to pay ~£115 per month for those

Who You'll Be Living With:

You'll be living with two other housemates, Luke, a PhD student at KCL who works on brain development in babies, and Weronika, a stage manager/producer working predominately in theater. We do some working from home and the house is well set up for three people to do so, we can each have our own space without encroaching into communal areas. We both enjoy making the most of London's performance scene, so if you're somebody who enjoys live theater and dance we will definitely have a lot of fun seeing some shows together (I just saw All My Sons, what a production!).

Who We Are Looking For:

Somebody, kind, trustworthy, communicative, who will help keep the house tidy and in a good state. There's no other must haves, but it is important for us that we feel we can trust one another and communicate our needs/wants clearly.

Please let us know about yourself (e. g. what your preferences for a house share are, what expectations you have, as well as more general stuff about your interests etc.) when replying to this ad as it helps us make a decision and if we don't have any information about you we are much less likely to respond to an inquiry.

The availability of the room is slightly flexible as our departing housemate may be leaving sooner or slightly later that the date displayed, but we can chat about that and respond to the needs of everyone involved.

Looking forward to meeting a new friend to share this awesome space with.
