Hi, I have 2 double rooms available in a recently refurbished house. Whilst it is a live in landlord situation, I want it to be more of a house share, where everyone feels like it’s fully their home to enjoy. I lived in flatshares for years and was always lucky to have people I got along with so hoping to have something similar here.
I’m laid back, friendly and tidy. I enjoy cycling, running, reading, visiting pubs & coffee shops, watching sport & documentaries.
The house is in a good location in a quiet street in central Croydon, 0.4 miles from Wandle Park (and the tram stop), 0.9 miles from East Croydon Station, 0.5 miles from Waddon station.
Bedrooms - Both rooms are doubles with a large wardrobe. There is plenty of space in the rooms for adding a chair or a desk depending on what suits you.
Bathroom - Brand new bathroom that is shared between the 2 rooms, there is a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen/dining/reception room looking out onto the garden. The kitchen and appliances are brand new including an induction hob. I’m vegan but happy to share with those who aren’t. There is a separate living room with sofa and tv. (I have sofas on order so once they arrive the sofa in the living room will be moved to near the patio doors.)
The house has a brand new heating system (powered by a heat pump) and is well insulated so is nice and warm now the weather is getting colder. The ground floor has underfloor heating throughout.
Garden - there is a nice patio for when the summer comes round. The rest of the garden is currently a bit of a rewilding exercise but planning to get this into shape in time for the warm weather.
(As an FYI, there is currently no stairs carpet but there will be in due course.)

Room 1 - £850 pcm
Room 2 - £800pcm
This includes council tax, water, internet, tv license.
Electricity will be extra and shared equally between 3 housemates.
